Course description

Concept and management of IT. Strategic systems of IT for achieving advantage in competition. IT planning and reorganizing business process. IT economy. IT system development. Managing IT resources and security. Implementing IT in tourism. Influence of the demand on developing e-business. E-business and tourist offer. E-tourism management. Global distribution system development. IT systems in air travel, hotels, tour operators, travel agents, destination management. E-marketing and communication in tourism. E-channels of distribution and sales in tourism. Server technology for websites. Fundamentals of PHP - integration with hypertext. Types of data, constants and variables. Syntax, expressions and operators. Programme structures of flow control. PHP function library. Connecting PHP with SQL data base. Creating data base. Basic queries and linking tables. Entering, changing and deleting data. Aggregating functions, grouping and sorting.
