Course description

Development of constitution and legislation in Serbia through history. The most important legal documents in medieval Serbia. Legislation in Serbia in the 19th century and power of the state. Constitution from 1903 and legislation of the 20th century, historic changes from the Serbo-Croat-Slovene Kingdom, Kingdom of Yugoslavia and Federate People's Republic of Yugoslavia, Socialist Federate Republic of Yugoslavia, Confederate Republic of Yugoslavia and Republic of Serbia. Relevant terms from the constitution, legislation other legal phenomena, political institutions and constitutional principles and constitutional rights, legal tools and opportunities for citizens' participation in political process, i.e. executive power and political life in general - elections, referendum, etc.
