Course description

In lectures vocabulary and grammar are studied from the texts taken from tourism industry context. Students analyze the texts from the field of tourism and thus expand the knowledge of the field. Visual aid is used in lectures - PowerPoint presentation and video clips on relevant topics from tourism with the related vocabulary.

In exercises students practice listening, speaking and writing skills. Students listen to native speakers recorded on CDs, and have a chance to discuss in pairs different topics from tourism. They learn and practice vocabulary and grammar. Apart from the texts from course books, addition material from the Internet and brochures is used.
